What is a community?

An online community is a virtual collective. It is a place where people meet and communicate/collaborate without ever meeting in real life. Visitors may leave information at any time, ranging from personal details to the latest news. The editor is able to manage and adapt the website without any knowledge of the Internet. This platform runs on our own Community Software and is entirely data-based. On the right-hand side are four examples of successful online communities, created and managed by We Focus B.V.

Events

For clients who have commissioned We Focus B.V. to create and maintain an online community for them, we organise so-called user group events. This unique concept provides community users with the possibility to meet in real life. We can also organise such an event for you. To get an idea of what these meetings may be like, watch the video below. These recordings were made during the Airport Parking Network Event, which was organised entirely by We Focus B.V.

Parking Network

Parking Network Parking Network has become the largest online source of information in the field of parking worldwide. Everywhere in the world, parking professionals access Parking Network for the latest news on relevant topics, to contact other parking professionals, or to publish their own company information online. Parking Network has about 19,000 unique visitors every month.

ATC Network

This community was set up in January 1999, and has become the world’s largest source of online information in the field of Air Traffic Control

AsfaltNET

Asfaltnet provides a wealth of information on asphalt and asphalt-related topics. The web site caters for all those who want to know more about asphalt or share information on this subject. The platform was an initiative of VBW-Asfalt.

Participatie.info

This platform supports the integration of new citizens in the Netherlands and Europe. Participate.info is part of the EIF project ‘Participatie Ambassadeurs’. This initiative was set up by reintegration organisation Connecting2u BV, together with the municipalities of Huizen, Blaricum, Eemnes and Laren. The project was partly funded with contributions from the European Integration fund.
